FAQ'S

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ:
 
  • To make registration, rescheduling and cancelling classes simple, please login to this site or download the free WIX FIT app on your phone and use invite code: AYYAPP to set up your personal, mobile app.

WHICH CLASS SHOULD I TAKE?
 
  • Each class has a specific format and, while many are mixed-level, some are appropriate for beginners, while others require some experience. Please read the Class Descriptions prior to registering for class.

 
WHAT IF I'M BRAND NEW TO YOGA?
 
DO I NEED TO REGISTER OR CAN I JUST DROP IN?

  • While drop-ins are welcomed, it's beneficial to register for every class (even if you have an active membership), as space is limited and priority will be given to those who are registered.

  • NOTE: If a class is cancelled or important info needs to be relayed, you will only be notified if you're registered.

HOW MUCH DO CLASSES COST?

  • Price per class is $16 and should be paid online, in advance. If you wish to pay cash, please let me know. There are also several monthly auto-draft plans available.

 

  • One member per membership plan. Please don't book another participant using your monthly plan. They must book seperately with their own plan or pay the drop-in fee.

  • There is a $2 service fee for payment by invoice, post-class payment, or if I must register for you. 

WHERE ARE CLASSES LOCATED?
  • Classes are held at The Terrace at Highland Lakes (unless otherwise stated). We are located at the former Highland Lakes Golf Course, on the main level, above The Grille. Park in the lot located off of Highland Lakes Dr. You'll find us in the main building, to the right. Map

  • Certain workshops and special events may be held at other locations. Details will be shared for specific events.

 
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

  • Doors will open 15 minutes prior to the listed start time, giving you time to set up and get ready for class. If you arrive early, please wait in the lobby for doors to open.

  • All classes will begin with a 15 minute check-in at the listed start time. Feel free to quietly join us if you are running a little late, but know that doors will be closed 15 minutes after class begins.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
  • Please bring a yoga or exercise mat (available to rent or purchase if you don't own one), a water bottle, and a blanket to every class. If you have other props you'd like to utilize (such as blocks, bolster, zafu, strap, etc.), feel free to bring those, as well.

IS CLASS HELD INDOORS OR OUTDOORS? HOW WILL I KNOW?
  • I usually don't know until I arrive at the building, so if you text me to ask, I will tell you I don't know. Because we share the building with other businesses, whether we're inside or outside depends, not only on the weather, but also other happenings within (or outside of) the building. Come prepared for anything and dress in layers. We are lucky to have access to a beautiful outdoor terrace, as well as a spacious room with a gorgeous view!
HOW DO I JOIN ONLINE?
  • Register for the class you want to join. You will receive a confirmation email with a Zoom link. Make sure you have Zoom downloaded and a somewhat secluded place to practice with wi-fi access and a laptop/tablet/phone. Be sure to let me know, within 2 hours of class, that you will be joining via Zoom, rather than in-person.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?

 

  • Due to space limitations, all classes require a minimum 24 hour cancellation notice, via the online login system or Wix Fit app. Please login to your account and use the Cancel or Reschedule feature.

  • No refunds/rainchecks for "no-shows"​ or cancellations within 24 hours and missed class(es) will count against monthly membership packages.​​

WHAT IF CLASS IS CANCELLED?

  • If I must cancel due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified as soon as possible and issued a refund or raincheck.

  • Because we utilize a shared space for classes, in the event I have to cancel due to another event at the venue, you will be notified as soon as possible and issued a refund or raincheck. 

  • Evening classes with no registrants 2 hours prior to class start time will be cancelled. Morning classes with no registrants by 7pm the night prior will be canceled.
